Chef Tim Dean

Hi!  I am so glad to hear of your interest in Culinary Arts!  I love to cook and I would love to have the opportunity to show you why.  Being a cook goes beyond what happens in the kitchen.  It also gives you the opportunity to nurture people when they need it and to help bring them together.  There’s a certain magic in that.

When I am not working with students at Region 10, I have a catering business in downtown Portland called Timothy’s Finest and am very busy creating plate after plate of scrumptious delights. I am also a personal trainer and I work with people to help them get their body in top shape through exercise as well as balanced diet. At one point I was the personal chef of the actress Glenn Close. I am a lifelong learner and am currently pursuing my Masters Degree as well.  I hope to see you. soon!
