OVERVIEW

The Region 10 Cooperative Board work to set the vision, goals, and policy for Region 10. Each of the sending schools has a representative on the board and this representative works as a liason between the sending school and the Cooperative board.  The superintendent/director answers to the board, implementing policies and directives, making recommendations, providing leadership, and generally serving as a resource to both the staff and the board.

Some of the most important responsibilities the board holds include:

• • • Hiring of the superintendent/director
    • Setting the yearly budget
    • Approving contracts for teachers and outside vendors
    • Establishing a vision for the Region 10
    • Working to expand the school to a 4 year technical high school
