{Mr. Boudreau is a teacher who will push you to do things that are hard. Sometimes, he lets us fail so we learn from it and we begin to work through problems by ourselves.  That’s what we are going to have to do out in the field so he helps us by allowing us to encounter those kinds of problems now”

About the Instructor

Wade Boudreau leads the Building Trades program at Region 10 Technical High School. His passion for construction began in childhood alongside his twin brother, Ward. They evolved from creating blanket forts and treehouses to fine woodworking projects such as barns, houses, furniture, cabinetry, and even boats. A notable achievement includes their stool design, which garnered the attention of Andrew Wyeth’s nephew, resulting in an order of 60 stools as holiday gifts.

Wade is an alumnus of the University of Southern Maine, where he developed his construction and woodworking expertise. He is enthusiastic about imparting his extensive knowledge and love for building to his students, emphasizing practical, hands-on learning experiences both in the workshop and on community job sites.

Beyond the classroom, Wade is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys marathon running and fishing with his brother. His dedication to teaching and his diverse interests enrich the learning environment for his students.
