NEW YORK (AP) — The anti-harassment #MeToo movement has been named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.
BRUNSWICK — George F. Wyman, age 86, passed away December 1, 2017 at his home from Leukemia (AML). He was born March 21, 1931 in Bath, a son of Swanton Higgins and Margaret (Donahue) Wyman. He attended Small Point schools and graduated from Morse High School in 1950.

WISCASSET — Madelyn A. Anderson, 88, of the Gardiner Road, Wiscasset died peacefully in her sleep with her family, friends and nurses by her side, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Miles Memorial Hospital.
Madelyn was born, November 26, 1929 in Bath, Maine, the second daughter of Lester A. Savoie and Irene Place Savoie. Madelyn married William F. Anderson on February 14, 1948.

SKOWHEGAN (AP) — Maine law enforcement officials are searching a property in Skowhegan as they look for a woman who has been missing for six months.
State Police, Skowhegan police and the Maine Warden Service focused Tuesday on a home and an adjacent wooded area in the search for 40-yearold Tina Stadig.
BELGRADE (AP) — State police in Maine say a 17-yearold runaway boy was arrested after breaking into summer homes, one of which he was living in.
Police say eight seasonal homes had been broken into in Belgrade along Messalonskee Lake. They say they found the teenager inside one of them and took him into custody.
BELFAST (AP) — A Maine woman has pleaded guilty to manslaughter after a home invasion victim was literally scared to death.
Belfast officials say 37-yearold Tara Shibles pleaded guilty in a deal with the state for a 10-month jail sentence. WABI-TV reports Shibles apologized in court Monday, saying she never meant to hurt anyone.
